Notice is hereby given that RAMACO RESOURCES, LLC, 250 W MAIN ST, SUITE 1900, LEXINGTON, KY 40507 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmentsl Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 22 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U020983 to Coal Underground in the Pocahontas #4 seam of coal. The operation is discharging into Right Fork of Beechfork of Dry Fork of Tug Fork and Big Sandy and is located 3.5 miles, Southwest of Squire in Big Creek District of McDowell County, Longitude 81o 37′ 40″ and Latitude 37o 12′ 32″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until September 11, 2023, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication.
