NOTICE
PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR NATURAL GAS HORIZONTAL WELL DRILLING PERMITS, pursuant to West Virginia Code Section 22-6A-10(e).
EQT Production Company, 400 Woodcliff Drive, Canonsburg, PA 15317, is applying for permits for horizontal natural gas wells at the following locations:
Vanderbilt 2H, located at approximately UTM NAD 83 Easting 545117.459 UTM NAD 83 Northing 4377612.121
Vanderbilt 4H, located at approximately UTM NAD 83 Easting 545118.407 UTM NAD 83 Northing 4377616.58;
Vanderbilt 6H, located at approximately UTM NAD 83 Easting 545119.355 UTM NAD 83 Northing 4377621.039;
Vanderbilt 8H, located at approximately UTM NAD 83 Easting 545120.303 UTM NAD 83 Northing 4377625.498;
Vanderbilt 10H, located at approximately UTM NAD 83 Easting 545121.251 UTM NAD 83 Northing 4377629.957;

These wells are located in the Evans Run and Buffalo Creek Watershed, Glover Gap Quadrangle, Mannington District, Marion County, West Virginia which disturbs three acres or more of surface excluding pipelines, gathering lines and roads or utilizes more than two hundred ten thousand gallons of water in any thirty-day period.

Emailed or written comments must reference the county, well number and operator and must be received within 30 days of the date of the last publication (expected to be 1/19/2024).
Copies of the proposed permit applications may be reviewed at the WV Department of Environmental Protection headquarters, located at 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, (304-926-0450). Full copies or scans of the proposed permit application will cost $15.00, whether mailed or obtained at DEP headquarters.
