The City of Fairmont’s Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for the following requests on February 21, 2024, at 7:00 pm at the Public Safety Building, 500 Quincy Street. During this meeting interested persons may appear and be heard concerning the following:

PC 24-01 – Freeport Properties LLC, is seeking a variance to the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance Regulations in Article 7 of the City of Fairmont adopted zoning code. The variances are for Articles 7.5.6.A.i, 7.5.6.E, and 7.5.6.F (twice). The request is to subdivide one parcel into three parcels, none of which would meet the minimum requirements for the zoning district in which they are located. The property is 1840 Morgantown Avenue, Tax District 6, Map 6, Parcel 103.
