Take Notice that, pursuant to Code of Virginia, Section 45.2-1632.E. the undersigned operator proposes to file, or has filed, an application for gas and oil operations known as CBM Z34I W/PL with the Virginia Department of Energy under Code of Virginia, Section 45.2-1631, with respect to an operation on the Coal Mountain Mining LLC tract of 35 acres, more or less. Buchanan Mining Company LLC tract of 35 acres, more or less. Gary Davis tract of 22.4 acres, more of less. tract(s) in the Garden District, BUCHANAN City/County, Virginia

The application is on file with the Virginia Department of Energy identifying the proposed location and all work to be performed at the described site. Any inquiries should be directed to the Gas and Oil Team at 276 415-9700.

Code of Virginia Section 45.2-1632 identifies persons with rights to file objections to the gas and oil operation. Persons objecting to a permit must state their reasons for objecting within 15 days of the date of receipt of notice. Written objections must be filed with the Virginia Department of Energy, Gas and Oil Director, 3405 Mountain Empire Road, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219.

ORDER

The Raleigh County Commission does hereby accept the following County Policy for procedures to adhere to during all future elections:

• Cell phones by poll workers are to be kept on vibrate and not visible to the voters and used for emergency use only or official poll worker business. No other electronic recording devices are allowed in the voting area. Should a voter be on their cell phone or similar device the voter will be respectfully requested to continue the call or use of the device outside.

• NO poll worker and/or voter shall have newspapers, magazines, radios, cellphones, campaigning material, signs, pens, hats, stickers, etc that have political campaigns, slogans or representation of any political party or candidat, past or present. The poll worker and/or voter will have to remove the item or cover it to remain in the precinct.

The Clerk of the County Commission shall publish such notice in the Register Herald as a Class I legal ad.
