NOTICE

The City of Bluefield West Virginia is accepting bids for 27 impounded vehicles located in the City Impound Lot on Old Bluefield-Princeton Road in Bluefield, West Virginia. Bids will be accepted until Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Bids will be opened on this same date at 2:05 p.m. Please be advised the vehicles listed are being bid out as a package.

Bids must be presented as the total cost for all 27 impounded vehicles listed in the Bid Packet. Bids will be received by the City of Bluefield, Mercer County, West Virginia, at Bluefield City Hall located at 200 Rogers Street, Bluefield, WV 24701 until the time of 2:00 p.m. on the date of April 16TH, 2024.

DELIVERED IN PERSON to Tyler Myers, Code Enforcement Director, 200 Rogers Street, Bluefield, WV 24701.

BIDS MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED VEHICLE IMPOUND BID

The winning bidder will be granted 30-days from the date the bid is awarded to obtain/remove all 27 vehicles from the impound lot. Any vehicles left in the lot after this period will be subject to storage fees at a $10.00 per day per vehicle rate for ten days. Any vehicles left in the impound lot after this 10-day period will be considered abandoned and will be re-auctioned at a later date.

The City of Bluefield will afford full opportunity for minority business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the bid award. The City of Bluefield reserves the right to accept or reject any and or all bids or any part thereof.
