WEATHERIZATION
ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

State Plan

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE: The Community Advancement and Development (CAD) division of the West Virginia Department of Economic Development (WVDED) is hosting an online public hearing on the proposed use and distribution of funds for the Weatherization Assistance Program funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 2pm. The WVDED is seeking comments from the public on the proposed use of funds. The plan will guide the expenditure of approximately $4,325,662 annual funding for PY 2024-2025 beginning July 1, 2024. The draft plan is available for public review until close of business Monday, April 29, 2024 and will be submitted to the DOE on or about May 3, 2024. Additional information about the plan and hearing are available on the CAD division’s website, including the draft plan and instructions for registering to attend the online hearing.
