Notice of Request for Proposal (RFP)

WorkForce West Virginia, a division of the Department of Commerce, announces the availability of U.S. Department of Labor National Dislocated Worker Grant Funds for the Severe Storms and Flooding that occurred on May 28-June 3, 2018 in the Eastern Panhandle. FEMA Declaration 4378-DR covers the West Virginia counties affected as follows: Grant, Pendleton, Hardy, Mineral, Hampshire, Morgan, and Jefferson counties. These funds will be awarded to Project Operator(s) to oversee the disaster relief clean-up activities which includes hiring and supervising temporary workers. Grant funds also cover administrative costs, payment of wages, safety equipment, tools, etc.

A public meeting to discuss the Request for Proposal (RFP) process will be held October 23, 2018 from 9 AM to 12:00 PM at WorkForce West Virginia’s Central Office, located at 1900 Kanawha Blvd. East, Bldg. 3, Suite 300, Charleston, WV 25305. Attendance is required at this bidder’s conference in order to submit a proposal. If for any reason, you cannot attend in person, you may send a local representative who cannot be representing any other agency, on your behalf.
