AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE Notice of Application Notice is given that K&N Contracting, Inc. has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Class II Administrative Update to General Permit G40-C143A for aggregate processing equipment to be used at a piece of property located at 99 24th Street, Huntington in Cabell County, West Virginia. The equipment will be used to crush on-site concrete/stone to be used in developing the site and excess material will be shipped from the site. Once the project is completed the equipment will be removed from the site. The latitude and longitude coordinates are 38.428906 and -82.418092. The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: PM of 4.86 tons per year (tpy) of which 2.42 tpy is fugitive, PM10 of 1.95 tpy of which 0.82 tpy is fugitive, and PM2.5 of 0.31 tpy of which 0.10 tpy is fugitive. Startup of operations is planned to begin on or about August 1, 2025. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
