REQUEST FOR BIDS The Logan County Commission is seeking sealed bids on the demolition of one (1) structure involved in the buyout through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the WV Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Management, and the removal of all debris resulting from said demolition, as well as landscaping following the demolition. General contractors should only bid on the demolition, debris removal and landscaping. A bid package will be available from Monday, March 15, 2021, through Friday, April 23, 2021, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Logan County Commission Office, 325 Stratton Street, Logan, WV 25601., or by e-mail upon request. All interested contractors, or their representatives, must be present to be eligible to bid. Bids will be accepted at the Logan County Commission Office until Monday, May 3, 2021, at 1:30 o’clock p.m., at which time they will be opened and read aloud. If a bid is awarded, all work must be completed within sixty (60) days. The Logan County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Forms of Bid Bond, Forms of Performance Bond, and other related documents will be contained in the bid package. Each bidder must deposit with his/ her bid, security in the amount and form and subject to conditions provided in the bid package.
