NOTICE Disadvantaged Business Enterprises The Tri-State Transit Authority (TTA) hereby announces its Fiscal Years 2022 – 2024 goal of 1% for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) in contracted work. The goal, along with a description of TTA’s DBE Program, is available for public review and comment through July 5, 2021, at the TTA’s offices, which are located at 1120 Virginia Avenue, West, Huntington, West Virginia. Written comments should be addressed to the TTA’s offices, or you may call for information (304) 529-6094. Attention DBE Transit Suppliers and Consultants The Tri-State Transit Authority (TTA) requests that any qualified DBE firm that may be able to supply transit parts, supplies, or services contact the TTA by calling (304) 529-6094 or by mail at ATTN: DBE Liaison Officer, PO Box 7965, Huntington, WV 25779. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises include suppliers that are small business concerns (as defined by the Small Business Administration), and that are owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. This includes Minority Owned Business Enterprises (MBE) or Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) that are at least 51% owned and controlled by minorities or women.
