NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FY 2015 EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT

The Monongalia County Commission will hold a public hearing on July 1, 2015 at 10:20 A.M. in the Monongalia County Commission Meeting Room, 243 High Street, 2nd Floor, Courthouse, Morgantown, WV.

The Monongalia County Commission intends to submit an application to the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance for federal funds under the FY 2015 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program in the amount of $17,464.

The purpose of this public hearing is to provide citizens and neighborhood or community organizations an opportunity to comment on the pending application, made available for public review on July 1, 2015.

Special note should be made that this application is non-competitive and the funds are already allocated by formula for the County.

Invitation to Bid Complete Fire Alarm Replacement North Tazewell Elementary School The Tazewell County School Board is accepting sealed bids for the complete fire alarm replacement at North Tazewell Elementary School. Project Scope: Complete fire alarm system replacement is to include the following: fire alarm panel, smoke detectors with bases, heat detectors with bases, dual action pull stations, duct detectors, horns, strobes and all electrical and/or mechanical work necessary to complete installation. Sealed bids are subject to the terms and conditions of the school board and will be received at the Tazewell County School Board Office until but no later than 2:00 p.m. on July 10, 2015. A responsible bidder will be selected based on their technical capability/ qualifications, experience, and quality of work. Price shall be considered but is not the sole determining factor. (Va. Code 2.2-4301) The successful bidder will be required to comply with Tazewell County School Board policy.
