NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the above-styled matter has been filed in the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (West Virginia Code 60A-7-701, et. seq.). Any person or corporation having a claim to the hereinafter described property shall, on or before the 4th day of August, 2016, file, in writing, their claim to said property with the Clerk of said Court, which said claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon such person or corporation. A copy of said claim shall be delivered to Jason A. Wharton, Prosecuting Attorney, Counsel for Petitioners, at the Office of the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney, Judge Donald Black Annex, 317 Market Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia 26101.
Pursuant to West Virginia Code 60A-7-705 (c)(1-6), the following information is given: (1) the property seized which is the subject of the petition filed is $2,317.00 in United States Currency; (2) the West Virginia State Police is responsible for the seizure; (3) the property was seized on March 26, 2016 at at 4446 18th Avenue, Parkersburg, Wood County West Virginia; (4) the only owners of the property subject to forfeiture known to Petitioners is Gary A. Naylor; (5) the person having possession of the seized property at the time of the seizure was Gary A. Naylor; and (6) a request to the above named Court to enter an Order directing ownership of said property in the State and the West Virginia State Police will be made.
