THE SANITARY BOARD OF BLUEFIELD MERCER COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA ADA WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT MONITORING EQUIPMENT BID AUGUST 2016 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids will be received by the Sanitary Board of Bluefield, Post Office Box 998, 100 Rogers Street, Bluefield, West Virginia 24701, at the specified dates and times for the following work: Ada Wastewater Treatment Plant – Monitoring Equipment Bid, until 2:00 P.M., L.P.T., September 27, 2016. Following the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids, all proposals that have been submitted in accordance with the conditions of this project will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work to be bid upon is described as follows: Monitoring Equipment Bid Bids shall be received by the Sanitary Board of Bluefield for 4 Omni Site Crystal Ball Alarm and Monitoring Units with NEMA 4X Enclosures, 4 wireless radios with antennas and mounting brackets, 4 three year prepaid cellular service agreements, 4 secondary clarifier sludge blanket level sensors with controllers. The equipment supplied shall be a new, unused, and current year production model as described in the Specification. Bidders shall submit a base price less any government discounts available. Interested bidders can obtain the equipment specifications from the Sanitary Board of Bluefield. Specifications may be examined at the following place: Bluefield Sanitary Board 100 Rogers Street Bluefield, West Virginia 24701 Any questions about the meaning, the intent or the specification must be inquired into by the Bidder in writing by 4:00 PM Thursday, September 15, 2016. There is a $5.00 fee for the Equipment Bid specifications. Each Bid for the Monitoring Equipment shall be submitted on the Bidder’s standard equipment bid proposal format and included in a sealed envelope with the following information: Ada Treatment Plant Monitoring Equipment Bid “Name and Address of Bidder”, Sanitary Board of Bluefield, Bid on Ada Treatment Plant Monitoring Equipment, to be opened at 2:00 P.M., L.P.T., September 27, 2016. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. The Sanitary Board of Bluefield reserves the right to reject any or all Bids.
