Request for Proposals E-Rate Category 2 Components – Internal Connections The Mercer County Board of Education, Princeton, WV invites proposals to provide E-Rate Category 2 Components – Internal Connections for Mercer County Schools. Interested contractors may attend school site tours on February 25-26, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. starting at Princeton High School, 1321 Stafford Drive, Princeton, WV 24740. The tour will continue to all school locations referenced in the proposal so interested contractors may obtain a clear understanding of the components and scope of the work. No other site tours will be conducted. Proposals must comply with the Universal School and Library Program of the Universal Service Fund, or E-Rate requirements. The successful bidder and all subcontractors must have a valid WV Contractor’s License and will be required to pay the West Virginia Department of Labor prevailing wage rates as established for Mercer County, pursuant to West Virginia Code 21-5A-1 et seq. The successful Bidder must also comply with all rules and regulations of the West Virginia Workers’ Compensation Fund. The scope of work, submission requirements and the basis for the award is contained in the request for proposal. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for at least ninety days. No responses will be accepted after the posted closing time. Other requirements are detailed in the RFP. Proposals will be publicly opened on March 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the main conference room, Mercer County Board of Education, 1403 Honaker Avenue, Princeton, WV 24740.
