NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING UPON PROPOSED ORDINANCE
TO ALL CITIZENS
OF THE CITY OF
MANNINGTON:
The Council of the City of Mannington at a regular session held Monday, November 2, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 206 Main St., Mannington, introduced and read for the first time a proposed ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND/OR ALTER ORDINANCE #310 TO DESIGNATE LANDS AND PROPERTIES TO BE USED AS PARK SPACE WITHIN HR-1 HISTORIC RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available to the public at the City Clerk’s Office, 206 Main St., Mannington between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
A public hearing on said ordinance will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020, in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Any qualified voter or any freeholder of the City may appear at said public hearing and file objections, in writing, to the proposed Ordinance. At said hearing all objections and suggestions shall be considered by said City Council, and if no objections are filed, the Council shall take such action as it shall deem proper. If adopted, the Ordinance shall become effective upon passage.
