NOTICE
PUBLIC HEARING
TO: CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF FAIRMONT:
Please take notice that the Board of Zoning Appeals for the City of Fairmont will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the City of Fairmont Public Safety Building, 500 Quincy Street, Fairmont, WV, on the following item:
City Neon, on the behalf of Busy Beaver, is requesting a variance from the Fairmont City Code, Section 1342.08 (3) (B) (3) (multi-Tenant Developments) at his business which requires that the aggregate area for all signs is to be limited to one and a half (1 ?) square feet per one (1) lineal foot of street frontage with a maximum aggregate area of one hundred (100) square feet. The proposed wall sign to be placed is approximately 30 additional square feet to an existing sign that already exceeded the allowed 100 square feet because of a variance granted on April 2, 2015. (Tax Map 04-9, parcel 37).
Any interested person may appear at the public hearing and be heard on the matter.
Following the public hearing, the Commission shall take such action as it deems necessary in the premises.
