Notice is hereby given that Consolidation Coal Company, 46226 National Road, St. Clairsville, OH 43950 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV, 26416-1600 for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number U010483 in order to add 102.63 acres in order to expand the Nolan Run facility to provide additional disposal capacity for coal refuse generated at the Robinson Run Preparation Plant and to add 1.22 acres and delete 0.85 acre on the access roads to the 1-E-2GOB hole to better suit field conditions. It is also being requested to exceed the acreage limitation.
The revised permit will discharge into: Unnamed tributary of/and Jones Creek, of the West Fork River and Unnamed tributary of/and Dents Run and unnamed tributary of/and Buffalo Creek all of Monongahela River and is located: 2.8 miles southwest of Wyatt (Nearest P.O.), in the Eagle District of Harrison County, Longitude 80° 23’ 42” and Latitude 39° 24’ 29” and 3.1 miles northwest of Mannington (Nearest P. O.) in Mannington District of Marion County, Longitude 80° 23’ 45” and Latitude 39° 32’ 32”, (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until 3/7/2015, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication. A copy of the application will be available for review until 3/7/2015, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above AND in the Harrison and Marion County Clerk’s Offices during normal business hours.
