AMENDED NOTICE
This Notice is amended to reflect the correct owner(s) and the correct person(s) in possession.
Notice is hereby given that the above-styled matter has been filed in the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (West Virginia Code 60A-7-701, et. seq.). Any person or corporation having a claim to the hereinafter described property shall, on or before the 30th day of August, 2021 file, in writing, their claim to said property with the Clerk of said Court, which said claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon such person or corporation. A copy of said claim shall be delivered to Patrick O. Lefebure, Prosecuting Attorney, Counsel for Petitioners, at the Office of the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney, Judge Donald Black Annex, 317 Market Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia 26101.
Pursuant to West Virginia Code 60A-7-705 (c)(1-6), the following information is given: (1) the property seized which is the subject of the petition filed is $7,503.00 IN UNITED STATES CURRENCY, NEW ENGLAND 410 GAUGE SHOTGUN, SERIAL #NU302054, MARLIN 22LR, SERIAL #06184249, MARLIN 22LR WITH PISTOL GRIP, SERIAL #06113381, EIGHT SHOT 22 CAL. REVOLVER, MODEL TEX 22 CAL. REVOLVER, SERIAL #TX23274, RUGER LCP 380 CAL., SERIAL #371519083, and 2003 FORD F150, VIN #1FTRX18L53NA67658; (2) the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force is responsible for the seizure; (3) the property was seized on April 27, 2021 at 909 13th Street, Parkersburg, Wood County West Virginia; (4) the only owners of the property subject to forfeiture known to Petitioners is Toni Johnson, whose address is 909 13th Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia and Carolyn Falls, whose address is 909 13th Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia; (5) the person having possession of the seized property at the time of the seizure was Toni Johnson and Carolyn Falls; and (6) a request to the above named Court to enter an Order directing ownership of said property in the State and the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force will be made.
