On December 29, 2021, the Ohio Medical Board mailed a Notice of Opportunity for Hearing to Taiying Liu, LMT via certified mail, return receipt requested, at her last known address of record, 2194 National Road, Apt. 5, Wheeling, WV 26003-5260. The Notice was returned to the Board from the postal service marked “unable to forward”. A copy of the Notice is available on the Board’s website at www.elicense.ohio.gov.
The notice states that the Ohio Medical Board intends to consider disciplinary action against Taiying Liu’s license to practice massage therapy in Ohio based on her failure to cooperate in a Board investigation. The foregoing would constitute a violation of Sections 4731(B)(34), Ohio Revised Code.
Taiying Liu is entitled to a hearing in this matter if such hearing is requested within thirty (30) days of the last date of publication of this notice. Taiying Liu may appear at such hearing in person, by her attorney, or by such other representative permitted to practice before this agency, or she may present her position, arguments or contentions in writing. At the hearing, Taiying Liu may present evidence and examine witnesses appearing for or against her. Please contact the undersigned to ascertain the last date of publication.
