The Town of
Middlebourne will have its
General Election on June
13, 2023. The Office of
Mayor, Recorder, and five
Council Members seats
are open. The Town will
have its nominating
convention at the City
Building on January 12,
2023 at 1:00 pm. At this
convention people will be
nominated for the different
offices, will be sent a letter
advising them of their
nomination, and will be
given ample time to
accept or decline their
nomination. Also any
resident wishing to
nominate a person for any
office can come to the
convention, or they can
come to the City Building
from January 9, 2023 thru
January 27, 2023 to
nominate someone. You
must come to the office
and no nomination will be
accepted over the phone.
All candidates will have
until March 21, 2023 to
decline their nomination
and if they have not
declined by this date, their
name will be put on the
ballot.
The drawing for positions
on the ballot will be held at
the City Building on April
4, 2023 at 10:00am.
