Notice of Application
Notice is given that SWN Production Company, LLC
has applied to the West Virginia Department of
Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a
G70-D General Permit Modification for a natural gas
production facility (VERNON JOHNSON) located in
Wetzel County, WV.
From intersection of WV 7 and US 250 in Hundred, WV,
Go North on US-250 for 8.5 miles, Turn left onto Rice
Ridge, go 0.6 miles
Latitude and longitude coordinates are: 39.72251,
-80.547739
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the
following Regulated Air Pollutants will be:
Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) 17.89 tons/yr
Carbon Monoxide (CO) 29.82 tons/yr
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) 16.22 tons/yr
Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) 0.04 tons/yr
Particulate Matter (PM) 0.61 tons/yr
Benzene 0.11 tons/yr
Ethylbenzene 0.06 tons/yr
Formaldehyde 0.73 tons/yr
n-Hexane 0.38 tons/yr
Toluene 0.22 tons/yr
Xylenes 0.19 tons/yr
Methane 8.81 tons/yr
CO2 Equivalent 14,936 tons/yr
Operations are planned to begin on or about March 11,
2023. Written comments will be received by the West
Virginia Department of Environmental Protection,
Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston,
WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date
of publication of this notice.
