On May 11, 2023, the State Medical Board of Ohio mailed an order of Permanent Revocation of license to practice medicine and surgery in the State of Ohio to Michael P. Toret, M.D., via certified mail, return receipt requested, at his last known address of record, 19 Ruth Ave, Wheeling, WV 26003. The Order was returned to the Board marked “Return to Sender, no such number, unable to forward. A copy of this order is available at
elicense.ohio.gov.
Michael E. Toret M.D. may be entitled to an appeal. Such an appeal must be commenced by the filing of a Notice of Appeal with the State Medical Board and the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. The Notice of Appeal must set forth the Order appealed from and state that the State Medical Board’s Order is not supported by reliable, probative, and substantive evidence and is not in accordance with law. The Notice of Appeal may, but
is not required to, set forth the specific grounds of the appeal. Any such appeal must be filed within fifteen (15) days after the last date of publication in accordance with the requirements of Section 119.12, Ohio Revised Code.
