INVITATION TO BID
Sealed bids for a complete Audio-Visual System for the John Marshall High School Center for The Performing Arts, will be received in the office of Marshall County Schools, 214 Middle Grave Creek Road, Moundsville, WV 26041 on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 until 2:00pm. All complete bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time.
All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Bidding Documents issued by the Owner. Bidding Documents may be obtained upon request to:

Bidders interested in submitting bids shall contact the Architect. Email Bid Package to Rachel Driggs

and a Bid Package will be sent out in digital format. There is no deposit required for Bid Packages and all printing costs incurred by bidders are the responsibility of the bidders and are non-refundable.
A certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid, or satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia is an amount equal to five percent (5%0 of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid.
The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond, a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract award.
All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor’s Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall provide a copy of their WV Contractor’s license and include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form. A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 11:00am in the Auditorium of the John Marshall High School Center for The Performing Arts, 1300 Wheeling Avenue, Glen Dale, WV 26308. All bidders must attend the Pre-Bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions, and other relevant information. Attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting is mandatory for bid qualification.
After the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, no Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days.
