MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Falling Spring Sale is located within Compartment 614, Greenbrier County, 20 miles North of White Sulphur Springs, WV, in the headwaters of the Greenbrier River. The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids at Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins, WV 26241 before or at the time of public bid opening at 2:00 PM local time on 02/13/2024 for an estimated volume of 177 CCF of Mixed Pine sawtimber, 137 CCF of Red Maple sawtimber, 1904 CCF of Red & Black Oak (SO) sawtimber, 616 CCF of White Oak (CO) sawtimber, 803 CCF of Yellow Poplar (Cuc) sawtimber, and 1332 CCF of Pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below.
