FY 2024
The Housing Authority of the City of Wheeling, West Virginia will receive sealed bids for a PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE CONTRACT FOR EIGHT (8) ELEVATORS are located at 4 high-rise buildings. The bid opening will take place on, March 7 th , 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at our Main Office located at 11 Community St. Wheeling, WV. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The elevators consist of the following: Four (4) hydraulic, and Four (4) Traction elevators. Interested bidders must be familiar with the following:
They must reference having performed maintenance on similar controls and motor operations, have accessibility in the Wheeling area and provide financial and technical ability to render this service. The bidder must carry a State of West Virginia License, Liability and Workers Compensation insurance for employees.

before February 23rd , 2024, to view elevators. The successful bidder will be subject to a yearly inspection conducted by the West Virginia Dept. of Labor and will be responsible for all findings resulting from the inspection.
This aforementioned contract will run for a period of one (1) year from the date of award.
Bidding Documents will be available to pick-up at the Wheeling Housing Authority- Main Office in Elm Grove.
Your Bid must include the following: Form of Bid, WV Contractors license to perform the service, and a fully executed Non-Collusive Affidavit. (Forms included in Project. Manual) No bid bond will be required for these services.
The Housing Authority of the City of Wheeling reserves the right to reject any or all bids and
waive any informalities in the bidding.
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids
without the consent of the Housing Authority of the City of Wheeling, West Virginia.
