NOTICE OF LETTING

Sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Elkins for the implementation of a new Public Safety Camera System. Bids will be accepted until Friday, March 1st, 11:00 am. Bids will be due at the Elkins Police Department and will be opened and publicly read aloud at that time. No pre-bid meeting will be held.

This project includes the furnishing, installation, management, analytics, and training for a public safety camera system that will cover all ingress/egress routes, major intersections, and other areas of interest within the City of Elkins. The system will be expected to provide advanced license plate reader and facial recognition technology.

Interviews of qualified bidders may be conducted prior to the awarding of a contract.

The City of Elkins reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality, deemed to be in the best interest of the project. The City of Elkins will afford full opportunity for minority-owned business enterprises to respond to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, disability, or national origin in the contract award.
