MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Collar Hollow Sale is located within Compartments; 79, 82, 83 and 98, Randolph County, 20 miles northeast of Bartow, WV, in the headwaters of Gandy Creek. The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids at Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins, WV 26241 before or at the time of public bid opening at 2:00 PM local time on 05/23/2024 for an estimated volume of 402 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 912 CCF of Maple (RM, SM) sawtimber, 45 CCF of Hardwood – Other (Be, Bi, Bass, Cuc) sawtimber, 128 CCF of Red & Black Oak sawtimber, and 1196 CCF of Pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Cheat Ranger District, 459 Nursery Bottom Road, Parsons, WV 26287, Forest Supervisor’s Office or https://www.fs.usda.gov/resources/mnf/landmanagement/ resourcemanagement.
