MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Hacking Hunter Sale is located within Compartments 63 and 64, Nicholas County, 5 miles East of Richwood, WV, in the North Fork Cherry River watershed. The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids at Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins, WV 26241 before or at the time of public bid opening at 2:00 PM local time on 08/20/2024 for an estimated volume of 238 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 662 CCF of Maple(RM, SM) sawtimber, 160 CCF of Hardwood – Other(BG, Mag, Hic, YB, BB, CO) sawtimber, 4367 CCF of Red & Black Oak sawtimber, 3488 CCF of Yellow Poplar(Cuc, Bass) sawtimber, and 1223 CCF of Pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below.
