Notice is hereby given that J. F. ALLEN COMPANY, PO BOX 2049, 2133 OLD WESTON RD, BUCKHANNON, WV 26201 has sumbitted an application for RENEWAL of Quarry Article 4 Permit Number Q200902 to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV, 26416-1600. In order to remove Greenbrier Limestone by conducting Quarry & Deep Mine operations. The operation is discharging into unnamed Tributary of Shavers Fork of Shavers Fork of Cheat River of Monongahela River and is located 2.0 miles west of Bowden in Beverly District of Randolph County, Longitude 79 degrees 44′ 55″ and Latitude 38 degrees 54′ 16″” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Written comments on the Article 4 Quarry Permit Renewal Application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until 10-18-24 or thirty (30) days from the date of publication. A copy of the application will be available for review in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
