NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE
MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Red Run Sale is located within Compartments 609, 611, 612, and 613, Greenbrier County, 20 miles North of White Sulphur Springs, WV, in the Greenbrier River Watershed. The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids at Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins, WV 26241 before or at the time of public bid opening at 2:00 PM local time on 10/31/2024 for an estimated volume of 1821 CCF of Chestnut & White Oak sawtimber, 198 CCF of Hardwood – Other sawtimber, 407 CCF of Red Maple sawtimber, 1814 CCF of Red & Black Oak sawtimber, 787 CCF of Eastern White Pine sawtimber, 267 CCF of Yellow Poplar sawtimber, and 1026 CCF of Pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. Sale contains specified
roads with an estimated public works construction cost of $109,204.78. Bidders qualifying as small business concerns under the Small Business Act may, when submitting a bid, elect for the Forest Service to build
permanent roads. Additional information concerning this option is in the prospectus. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
