REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
MOVING SERVICES
The Ritchie County Commission (RCC) is requesting proposals for moving service. The RCC is currently finishing construction of a new Ritchie County Judicial Complex located at 109 North Street, Harrisville, WV, directly behind the Ritchie County Courthouse. A total of seven county offices from five locations in Harrisville will be moved into the new location. Equipment to be moved includes general office equipment, filing cabinets, computers, desk, chairs, tables, etc. This includes taking a part and re-assembling equipment.
A mandatory pre bid walk thru of all current offices to be moved and the new offices will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 10am at the front steps of the Ritchie County Courthouse located at 115 East Main Street, Harrisville, WV 26362. A hard hat and closed toed shoes will be required for the walk thru of the new facility. Two representatives from each company will be allowed on the walk thru.
Moving to be done in January and February of 2025.
All bids will be due by 1pm on Friday, November 8, 2024. Sealed bid packet can be mailed or hand delivered to:

The Ritchie County Commission will review all bids and award the moving project at their November 14, 2024 County Commission meeting. The Ritchie County Commission reserves the right to refuse any or all received bids.
