NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE
MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Hopkins Mountain Sale is located within Compartments 617 and 618, Greenbrier County, 20 miles North of White Sulphur Springs, WV, in the Greenbrier River Watershed. The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids at Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins, WV 26241 before or at the time of public bid opening at 2:00 PM local time on 12/12/2024 for an estimated volume of 510 CCF of Chestnut Oak sawtimber, 450 CCF of Maple sawtimber, 58 CCF of Mixed Hardwood sawtimber, 748 CCF of Red & Black Oak sawtimber, 403 CCF of White Pine sawtimber, 94 CCF of Yellow Poplar sawtimber, and 806 CCF of Pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Marlinton Ranger District, 1627 Cemetery Road, Marlinton, WV 24954, Forest Supervisor’s Office, or visit online:
