West Virginia University at Parkersburg is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to complete the Caperton Access Control project. Renovations include new exterior aluminum doors with new electronic access control hardware. Electronic access control hardware is to be added to existing exterior metal doors and existing interior doors. New data devices, data cabling, & electrical to be provided. Electronic bid documents will be available on November 20, 2024, at www.pickeringplanroom.com at no cost. A Prebid meeting will be held on November 26, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Caperton Center located at 300 Campus Drive, Parkersburg, WV 26104. Bids will be due at 11:00 a.m. on December 17, 2024, at the WVU-P Purchasing Department at 300 Campus Drive, Parkersburg, WV 26104 Attention: Jeannine Hetrick- Ratliffe, CPO. A public bid opening will take place in the Business Office Conference Room directly after bids are due. The Project does not include Davis-Bacon Wage Requirements.
