Sealed Bids for the Acquisition of Snow Removal Equipment – Broom with Airblast will bereceived by the Wood County Airport Authority, located at the Mid-Ohio Valley Airportconference room, 543 Co Rte. 31/1 Williamstown, West Virginia, 26187, until 2:00 p.m., L.P.T., on Thursday December 12, 2024. Immediately following the scheduled closing time for thereception of Bids, all proposals which have been submitted in accordance with the conditions ofthe Contract Documents will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The approximate quantities of Work to be Bid upon is as described as follows:
Acquisition of Snow Removal Equipment – Broom with Airblast per the specifications.
The Work will be substantially completed within 300 days after the date when the Contract Timescommence to run and completed and ready for final payment within 330 days after the date whenthe Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $500 per day.

A pre-bid conference will be held at the Wood County Airport Authority, located at the Mid-OhioValley Airport Conference Room at 543 Co Rte. 31/1 Williamstown, West Virginia, 26187 on Wednesday November 20, 2024, at 10:30 am.
The Wood County Airport Authority in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Actof 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders orofferors that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response tothis invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin inconsideration for an award.
The requirements of 49 CFR part 26 apply to this contract.
