NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the above-styled matter has been filed in the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (West Virginia Code 60A-7-701, et. seq.). Any person or corporation having a claim to the hereinafter described property shall, on or before the 14th day of January, 2025 file, in writing, their claim to said property with the Clerk of said Court, which said claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon such person or corporation. A copy of said claim shall be delivered to Patrick O. Lefebure, Prosecuting Attorney, Counsel for Petitioners, at the Office of the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney, Judge Donald Black Annex, 317 Market Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia 26101.
Pursuant to West Virginia Code 60A-7-705 (c)(1-6), the following information is given: (1) the property seized which is the subject of the petition filed is 2004 HONDA CBR 1000RR MOTORCYLE, S/N JH2SC57024M003913, 2006 MASERATI QUATTROPORTE, S/N ZAMCE39AX 60022734, POLYMER80 9MM PISTOL, S/N CA38831, COBRA ENTERPRISE .22 CAL, S/N 61882, REMINGTON MODEL 700 .308, S/N G6965038; (2) the property was seized on September 11, 2024 at 8 Willis Street, Mineral Wells, Wood County West Virginia; (3) additional property seized, which is the subject of the petition filed, is 2002 HONDA GBR900 MOTORCYLE, S/N JH2SC50072 M008676; (4) the property was seized on September 6, 2024 on Interstate 77, southbound, near mile marker 177, Parkersburg, Wood County West Virginia; (5) the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force is responsible for the seizure; (6) the only owners of the property subject to forfeiture known to Petitioners is Jeramie Walker, whose address is 8 Willis Street, Mineral Wells, West Virginia and/or David Hamilton, whose address is 1003 13th Avenue, Apt. 1, Vienna, West Virginia; (7) the person having possession of the seized property at the time of the seizure was Jeramie Walker and David Hamilton; and (8) a request to the above named Court to enter an Order directing ownership of said property in the State and the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force will be made.
