PUBLIC NOTICE
The Wood-Washington- Wirt Interstate Planning Commission is in the process of developing the Draft Biennial Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for 2026-2029. The TIP is a list of transportation projects in the study area that are programmed to receive a federal funding authorization during the four years covered by the TIP. The study area includes all of Wood County, West Virginia and portions of Washington County, Ohio. The types of projects included in the TIP are highway, transit, federal land management act, and active transportation facilities. Anyone interested in providing suggestions or comments on projects that should be taken into consideration in the development of the document should contact us via e-mail to [email protected], the agency website at triplew.org, or by mail at P.O. Box 247, Parkersburg, WV 26102. All comments must be received by January 22, 2025 to be considered in the draft document. This notice of public involvement activity and time established for public comment satisfies the program of projects public participation requirements.
