NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONVEYANCE
OF UNITED METHODIST CHURCH PROPERTY (Seventh Street United Methodist Church)

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church will, on or after January 17, 2025 QUITCLAIM, GRANT and CONVEY to the Sunrise Holdings, LLC all of their right, title and interest in and to those certain lots or parcels of real estate situate, lying and being in the City of Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia, described as follows:

PARCEL ONE

FIRST TRACT: Beginning at a point on East Seventh Street at the southeast corner of Lot No. 12 in the Village of Fairview and running thence toward the Old Fair Ground along the line f said Lot No. 12, 90 feet; thence at right angles to said line in an easterly direction 30 feet; thence parallel with the first line 90 feet to East Seventh Street; thence in a westerly direction with said East Seventh Street 30 feet to the place of beginning, being a part of Lot No. 11 of Fairview Addition to the City of Parkersburg.
SECOND TRACT: Beginning on the north side of the North Western Turnpike at a point 30 feet east of the southeasterly corner of Lot No. 12 of Fairview Addition, which point is 230 feet easterly from Briant Street and running thence easterly with said North Western Turnpike which is now called Seventh Street, 30 feet to a 20 foot street or alley; thence northerly with the line of said alley and parallel with the line of Lot No. 12, 90 feet; thence westerly and parallel with the North Western Turnpike, 30 feet; thence southerly parallel with the line of Lot No. 12, 90 feet to the place of beginning.

And being the same property conveyed from Frederick S. Hendershot and Clyde E. Hendershot, as Trustees to Trustees of the Seventh Street United Methodist Church by Deed dated November 16, 1970 and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Wood County, West Virginia in Deed Book 582, at Page 445, reference to which is hereby made.

PARCEL TWO

BEGINNING at a point in the west of the street plotted through a part of Lot No. 11 of Fairview Addition by Burdett Woodward 90 feet north of the Northwestern Pike, thence in a line of said street in a northern direction 30 feet to a point: thence at right angles and in a western direction 105 feet to a point, thence at right angles and in a southern direction toward the Northwestern Pike 30 feet to a point, thence in a line parallel with the second line end in an Eastern direction 105 feet to a line of said street.

EXCEPTING AND RE- SERVING a triangular tract of land 3.33 feet by 49.95 feet by 50 feet containing 83.15 square feet, more or less, being the same real estate conveyed unto Mary H. Atkinson by Hallie C. McGraw, widow, by Deed dated March 17, 1983, of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Wood County, West Virginia in Deed Book 784 at page 196.

And being the same property conveyed to the Trustees of the Seventh Street United Methodist Church from Hallie C. McGraw, Widow by Deed dated March 31, 1983 and recorded in the aforesaid Clerks Office in Deed Book 784, at Page 741, reference to which is hereby made. Said Seventh Street United Methodist Church was declared closed effective on August 25, 2024 by a majority of the District Superintendents of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
