NOTICE OF FILING
On November 25, 2024, Alan Lee Taylor, doing business as Taylor’s Trash Removal, filed an application with the West Virginia Public Service Commission for the transfer of P.S.C. M.C. Certificate Nos. F-4981 and F-5220 to Taylor’s Trash Service, LLC. P.S.C. M. C. Certificate No. F-4981 grants Alan Lee Taylor, doing business as Taylor’s Trash Removal authority to operate “as a common carrier by motor vehicle in the transportation of trash, rubbish and garbage within the corporate limits of the City of Parkersburg, Wood County; and later amended authorizing – to include the transportation of trash, rubbish and garbage within and between points and places in Wood County to a point of disposal, in addition to present operating authority under said certificate”. P. S. C. M.C. Certificate No. F-5220 grants Alan Lee Taylor, doing business as Taylor’s Trash Removal authority to operate “as a common carrier by motor vehicle in the transportation of trash, rubbish and garbage, in Wirt County, and in the City of Parkersburg and within a ten (10) mile radius thereof, all within Wood County.
On January 30, 2025, Public Service Commission Staff recommended that the application be approved if no protests are received by the Public Service Commission.
Anyone desiring to protest or intervene should file a written protest or notice of intervention within ten (10) days following the date of this publication unless otherwise modified by Commission order. If no protests are received, the Public Service Commission may waive formal hearing and render its decision on the application based on the evidence submitted with the application and the Commission’s review thereof. Requests to intervene must comply with the Public Service Commission’s rules on intervention set forth in the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure.
