PUBLIC NOTICE
A public hearing will be held on Wednesday the 12th of March, 2025, at 6:30PM for all interested citizens of the City of Parkersburg. The following is a summary of the proposed operating budgets for the General and Coal Severance Funds for the 2025-2026 fiscal year:

The hearing will be held during the regular meeting of the City Council in the Council Chambers on the second floor of the Municipal Building located at One Government Square, Parkersburg, WV, 26101 for the purpose of public comment regarding the proposed budget. The proposed budget can be examined in the Finance Department on the first floor of the Municipal Building between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:00PM, or on the Finance Department webpage of the City of Parkersburg website, www.parkersburgwv.gov. All interested citizens will have the opportunity to give written or oral comment. Senior citizens are encouraged to attend and comment.
A second public hearing will be held on the same evening for the purpose of public comment regarding the Capital Program. The Capital Program can be examined in the Finance Department on the first floor of the Municipal Building between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:00PM, or on the Finance Department webpage of the City of Parkersburg website, www.parkersburgwv.gov. All interested citizens will have the opportunity to give written or oral comment. Senior citizens are encouraged to attend and comment.
