ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Williamson Shriver Architects Project 2024-025
The Randolph County Board of Education, Elkins, WV, will receive bids for a Safe School Entrance and Sprinkler System at Randolph County Technical Center until 1:30 p.m., local prevailing time, on March 27, 2025, at the office of the Randolph County Board of Education, 40
Eleventh Street, Elkins, WV 26241. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time and place.
A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference for General Construction has been scheduled for the 13th day of March, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Randolph County Technical Center, 200 Kennedy Dr, Elkins, WV 26241. A site visit will be conducted following the meeting.
The contract documents are available only from the architect’s electronic distribution system. Login credentials will be sent to all prospective contractors and subcontractors after the request is made to
[email protected]. Addenda will be only distributed electronically from the Architect electronic distribution system to bidders registered in attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Each Bidder must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue and the West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office prior to the time and date for Receipt of Bids in order for his Bid to be considered. Each Bidder’s registration certificate number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in the State prior to submitting a bid for this project as required by Chapter 21, Article 11, of the Code of West Virginia. Each Bidder’s Contractor license number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. A satisfactory bid bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia, in an amount equal to five (5%) of the total amount of bid, payable to the Logan County Board of Education, shall be submitted with each Bid. Each (The) successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond and the fee for same shall be included in their bid. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for at least thirty (30) days.
The Board of Education of the County of Randolph, Elkins, WV, reserves the right to reject any
or all bids.
