ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Wirt County Board of Education will be accepting sealed bids for the upcoming Wirt County Schools 2025 Two-Way Radio Communication Project. A sealed bid must be mailed to: Wirt County Board of Education, PO Box 189, Elizabeth, WV 26143, or hand-delivered to 389 Mulberry Street, Elizabeth, WV, by 11:00 AM, Friday, March 7, 2025. The completion date for the project is required with the submission of the sealed bid. Bids must be labeled “Wirt County Schools 2025 Two-Way Radio Communications Project”. All bidders shall be available to support all warranty and service needs as they arise. The Wirt County Board of Education reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids.

The project specifications and installations include the following:
(19) UHF P-25 Mobile Radios (380-470 MHz) 45 Watts with the following features and items:
1. Must be approved for use on the WV SIRN Radio Sys- tem
2. Ability to mix Conventional and Trunking Channels in the Same Zone
3. Ability to Scan Conventional and Trunking in the Same Scan list
4. Display capability of at least 14 characters
5. Must include Conventional Licensing
6. Must include P-25 Phase 1 Trunking
7. Must include P-25 Phase 2 Trunking
8. Must include OTAP (over the air programming)
9. Necessary Antennas
10. Coax Adapter (minipl to PL259)
11. Magnetic Mic holder(s)
(5) UHF P-25 Hand Held Portable Radios (380-479 MHz) 5 watts with the following features and Items:
1. Must be approved for use on the WV SIRN Radio System
2. Ability to mix Conventional and Trunking Channels in the Same Zone
3. Ability to Scan Conventional and Trunking in the Same Scan list
4. Display capability of at least 14 characters
5. Must include Conventional Licensing
6. Must include rapid rate desktop charger and 2600 Mah Battery
7. Antenna and Shoulder Microphone
8. Microphone must have earphone jack and at least 3 pro- grammable button MIL-STD Compatible with ANR Feature (14 pin connector) with 3 programmable keys
9. Must include 5 Rapid Rate Desktop Chargers (one per unit)
10. Must include 10 2600 Mah Batteries (two per unit)
11. Must include 5 antennas (one per unit)
12. Must include Conventional Licensing
13. Must include P-25 Phase 1 Trunking
14. Must include P-25 Phase 2 Trunking
15. Must include OTAP (over the air programming)

2. Proof of business license registration with West Virginia State Tax Department
3. Proof of business license registration with West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office

5. Complete No Debt Affidavit
