PUBLIC NOTICE
The WWW Interstate Planning Commission (WWW) has prepared a Draft Biennial Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the four years 2026-2029. The TIP provides a list of transportation projects in the study area that are programmed to receive federal authorization for implementation during the four-year period covered by the TIP. The types of work included on the TIP are highway and transit projects, as well as projects that provide for bicycle and pedestrian improvements. The study area covered by the TIP includes Wood County, West Virginia and portions of Washington County, Ohio. An introductory video and interactive document are available for review on the WWW website located at https://triplew.org/draft-
2026-2029-tip. The comment period will be open until April 9, 2025. Comments can be submitted through the agency website at triplew.org, a printable comment form from the website, by email at [email protected], or by phone at 304-699-3721. Comments can also be submitted in writing to WWW, P.O. Box 247, Parkersburg, WV 26102 Attention: Director of Transportation Planning. This notice of public involvement activities and time established for public review and comment satisfies the grantee program of projects public participation requirements. Upon completion of this comment period a Final FY 2026-2029 TIP will be prepared documenting any comments received.
