NOTICE OF DISPLAY OF PLANS AND PUBLIC HEARING
FOR FY 2025-2029 FIVE YEAR CONSOLIDATED PLAN AND
FY 2025 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
FOR THE CITY OF PARKERSBURG, WV
AND THE WOOD COUNTY HOME CONSORTIUM
Notice is hereby given that the City of Parkersburg, Wood County, WV has prepared a Five-Year Consolidated Plan for FY 2025-2029 and an Annual Action Plan for FY 2025. The Consolidated Plan identifies the housing and community development needs and priorities of the City of Parkersburg and of Wood County from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030. The FY 2025 Annual Action Plan directs the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds in the amount of $858,894.00 and $10,000.00 in CDBG program income, and HOME Investment Partnership Program funds in the amount of $252,591.13 and $160,000.00 in HOME program income. These plans were prepared with input gathered through a public hearing, meetings with stakeholder organizations and agencies, and a resident survey questionnaire.
In accordance with the regulations and requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the City’s Citizen Participation Plan, the draft plans will be on public display for a period of 30 days beginning Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at https://parkersburgwv.gov/
departments/planning___
development/index.php and in person at the City of Parkersburg Development Department, One Government Square, Parkersburg, WV 26101. To request a physical or electronic copy of the draft plans, please email ryan.barber@parkersburgwv

Additionally, the city will hold a public hearing in the Municipal Building’s Executive Conference Room on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. To ensure all have an opportunity to participate, this hearing will be held in-person and live-streamed on the City’s YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/
