Notice is hereby given that APPALACHIAN AGGREGATES, LLC 171 ST CLAIRS CROSSING, BLUEFIELD, VA 24605 has submitted an application for the RENEWAL of Quarry Article 4 Permit Number Q200193 to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600 in order to remove limestone by conducting quarrying operations. The operation is discharging into Mike Run and Shavers Fork of Cheat River and is located 2 miles, West of Bowden in Beverly District of Randolph County, Longitude 79 degrees 44′ 5″ and Latitude 38 degrees 54′ 51″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Written comments on the Article 4 Quarry Permit Renewal Application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until September 1, 2025, or thirty (30) days from the date of publication. A copy of the application will be available for review in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
