NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES

LEADSVILLE PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT
CASE NO. 25-0538-PWD-19A

The Leadsville Public Service District has filed a request with the West Virginia
Public Service Commission for an increase in its water rates. Commission Staff has
reviewed the application and recommended the following rates:

The Commission may adopt rates and charges for the District which are the same
as, greater than or less than the Staff-recommended rates and charges. The Staff
recommended rates are expected to generate an additional $144,319 annually or 27.63
percent over current rates. An average residential customer will experience an increase
of $11.37 monthly.
Anyone desiring to protest the proposed changes must do so in writing within ten
days of the date of publication of this notice. All protests should be addressed to the
Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P.O. Box 812.
Charleston, WV 25323. Comments may also be filed online. To help the Commission
determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests should be
specific as to reasons that the changed rates and charges should be modified. In
addition, anyone desiring a hearing in this matter must demand a hearing in the letter of
protest. If no substantial protest is filed, the Staff-recommended rates may be approved
without hearing.
