LITTER FENCE BID
The Tucker County Solid Waste Authority is requesting sealed bids for the following:
Litter Fence
Price must include the following:
* Overall minimum dimensions of 24′ long x 15′ high x 8′ wide.
* Units shall be equipped with the net mesh made of heavy gauge welded wire, galvanized and vinyl
coated with a 1″5 square opening. Back net shall be reinforced with 200 feet of 3/16″ Stainless Steel
coated aircraft cable and connected via the cable to the frame.
* Units shall have 4 Diagonal Cross Cables
* Units shall allow for the option of outrigger use during times of high winds. Outriggers shall be built
into the frame for stability and extend a depth of 15ft with 3 depth settings.
* Unites must be portable and must be able to connect via factory installed adjustable lift adapter for
any standard payloader bucket or a standard bulldozer blade.
* The unit shall be capable of being lifted from the front or rear of the unit.
* Lifting hooks shall meet the following requirements. Vertical height adjustment: min 6ft-9in to a max
of 12ft-2in horizontal hook adjustment: 5 increments from 11in to 2ft-7in.
* Units shall be constructed with an additional 3/4″ thick steel plate along front base of the unit.
* Uprights shall be made of 4″ x 2″ x 1/8″ rectangular steel.
* Units shall be delivered covered with enamel paint.
* Units shall be manufactured with a heavy litter control panel with two side wing nets, and a canopy
for maximum litter containment.
* Units shall be designed for 70mph minimum winds or greater and be designed to continue to force
litter down to the bottom of the unit.
* Units must come with a 5-year warranty.
Bids are due on 12/8/25
Bids can be mailed to Tucker County Solid Waste Authority P O Box 445 Davis, WV 26260 or delivered to the
office located at 284 Landfill Rd, Davis, WV 26260. Bids cannot be emailed. Purchase will not be made until a
representative from the Tucker County Solid Waste Authority has conducted an on-site inspection of the
equipment specified in bid. All components must be in good working condition. If, upon inspection, the equipment is not in satisfactory condition or does not meet the bid requirements, the Tucker County Solid Waste Authority reserves the right to refuse to purchase. Additionally, the Tucker County Solid Waste Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids as deemed in the best interest of the Authority.
