The City of Parkersburg and the Parkersburg Utility Board hereby provide notice of a public meeting regarding a transportation planning study partially funded through the Federal Railroad Administration.
The City, in coordination with the Parkersburg Utility Board and its consultant Burgess & Niple, is conducting a planning study to evaluate alternatives for the elimination of the existing at-grade railroad crossing located at 19th Street near Keever Street along the CSX Transportation Ohio River Subdivision. The study includes evaluation of potential bridge alternatives, along with preliminary design concepts and cost estimates.
The purpose of this public meeting is to:
* Inform the public of the project scope and preliminary alter- natives
* Present initial findings * Solicit public input and comments, which may be incor- porated into the planning study and final report
