Bid Opening:
Bids must be received on or before Monday, June 29, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in the Wirt County Commission Room, 19 Court Street Suite 103, Elizabeth, WV 26143 (P.O.Box 53, Elizabeth, WV 26143)
INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS:
1. Bids must be received in an envelope with the date and time of the bid opening on the outside of the envelope, emailed or faxed.
2. All bids should be signed in ink, showing all facts and the total amount of the bid.
3. Once bids are opened, all bid documents become Public Record.
4. The Wirt County Commission reserves the right to accept or reject in part or in whole anybid submitted.

SPECIFICATIONS: The following specifications are intended to describe one new 2026Chevrolet Tahoe Special Service Vehicle (SSV) / Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV), LS, 4WD forthe Wirt County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO)and the details contained in these specifications arenot designed to exclude any vendor from bidding, but are offered as a means of describingthe needs of the Wirt County Sheriff’s Office. All specifications are minimum requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:
Real Estate and Personal Property Taxes: “No bid will be accepted or opened on any County contract if the vendor is listed on the last published list of delinquent real orpersonal property taxes in Wirt County; however, the Commission will except bids by anyvendor who will provide proof of payment of current taxes or a certification from the Sheriffthat no taxes are due prior to submission of said bid.”
Required Forms: Vendors must be current on all taxes and submit required forms (W-9,affidavit, registration).
