ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the City of Belpre Orion Lift Station Improvements, Contract 20-1 project will be received by the City of Belpre at the City Building, 715 Park Drive, Belpre, Ohio 45714 until 11:00 a.m. (local time), August 4, 2020, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The work covered by the Contract Documents includes the following:
Orion Lift Station Improvements
The project includes replacing the existing “can-style” suction lift pump station with a new duplex submersible lift station; miscellaneous structural improvements; electrical and control modifications; associated site work; and the necessary appertaining work.
The estimated construction cost is $170,000.00.

BIDDERS shall be required to comply with all laws pertaining to prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Washington County, as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations.
Attention to the BIDDERS is called to the Instructions to Bidders, which are included in the proposed Contract Documents.
Successful Bidders shall be required to comply with all laws pertaining to minimum wage and discrimination of persons.
No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids.
The City of Belpre reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or items and/or award to the lowest and best Bidder. Each proposal must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same. The City of Belpre reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bidding.
