NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED WATER AND SEWER RATE INCREASE
LUBECK PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT
The Wood County Commission will be holding a Public Hearing on Monday, September 28, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. in Bicentennial Park located at 3rd and Market Streets, Parkersburg, WV. The Wood County Commission will discuss a proposed water and sewer rate increase requested by the Lubeck Public Service District. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.

WATER RESOLUTION
In order to pay the costs associated with increases relating to general operation and maintenance, and by reason of the requirements set forth in West Virginia Code Chapter 16, Article 13A, as amended, Lubeck Public Service District hereby adopts and increase in its current rates and charges for water service by increasing the previous rates for residential, commercial, industrial and public authorities by an approximate aggregate rate of 8.25%, the specific percentage of rate increases in the respective categories are set forth below. The average monthly bill for the various classes of customers will change as follows:

SEWER RESOLUTION
In order to pay the costs associated with increases relating to general operation and maintenance, and issuance of debt to finance a bond anticipation note that has matured, and by reason of the requirements set forth in West Virginia Code Chapter 16, Article 13A, as amended, Lubeck Public Service District hereby adopts and increase in its current rates and charges for sewer service by increasing the previous rates for residential, commercial and public authorities by 11.53%. The average monthly bill for the various classes of customers will change as follows:
